I'm Hattie Peterman! I’m an artist living in beautiful Petoskey, Michigan. I love to create with inspiration from the nature around me. In the spring of ‘26, I graduated with my BA in illustration at Indiana Wesleyan University. I have since been using my skills to bring joy to the Up North community.

In her free time, Hattie is a bug catcher, and when she makes art, Hattie is a Bug Crafter (get it?). My business is designed to share my love of bugs, animals, and the outdoors with others through everyday items, decorative and functional.

I am involved in many artistic outputs. While I sell my work online and in stores, I teach drawing classes, paint murals, and illustrate children's books. I continue to seek new experiences and connections with other artists, business owners, and supporters of the arts.
